Notice to ALL Applicants

 

All applicants offered a position of employment will be required to complete the tobacco free agreement. Any applicant that has used tobacco products within six (6) months from the date of application will not be eligible for employment.


Administrative Application Process
 

Current District Administrative Personnel

You must complete the Online District Application. Your basic information (name, social security number, date of birth, address) has been entered into the system. However, you will need to complete and submit the entire application. Current employees are not required to submit the following documents to complete the application process: references, transcripts, copies of certificates. Current employees are requested to submit a current resume to be considered for any position.  Please send resumes to the Human Resources Department via courier or mail to:

All Other Applicants

The School District of Escambia County requires that you submit all of the following documentation before you may be interviewed for any position:

  1. Completed Online Application
  2. Official College/University Transcripts from all institutions attended
  3. Copies of any valid State teaching certificate(s) and/or Statements of Eligibility; if applicable
  4. A current resume is preferred
     

How to Apply for Specific Positions

Each time that you wish to apply for a specific vacancy, you will need to:

  1. Login to your application
  2. Click on Employment Preferences
  3. Click Continue
  4. Select Add Position
  5. Open the drop down menu (No Selection) and click on the specific job for which you wish to apply
  6. Click Continue to return to the previous screen to verify the job has been added. To apply for additional jobs, repeat steps 4-6.
  7. Click Agreement. If you agree with the terms type Yes, then click Continue.
  8. Click Submit



Employment Requirements

Upon employment, you will be required to:

  • provide a copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card
  • provide a copy of your DD-214 (if applicable)
  • be fingerprinted and undergo a criminal history background check
  • submit to pre-employment Drug and Nicotine screening
  • make application for a Florida Educator's Certificate
  • complete an Employment Eligibility Verification form (I-9) and provide documentation of your identity and authorization to work (if applicable)
