Fall VPK Registration

Pre-Kindergarten registration for Escambia County students will begin April 2, 2018. This is a free VPK program, with 14 locations to choose from, for any family living in a Title One attendance area. 

 

Who is eligible?

If your child was born between September 2, 2013 and September 1, 2014, your child is eligible for the 2018-2019 School Year VPK program. 

Step 1: Obtain a VPK Certificate of Eligibility (COE). Families can apply for a Certificate beginning January 1, 2018.

  • Apply for a Certificate of Eligibility online HERE
  • Apply for a Certificate of Eligibility in person at the Early Learning Coalition located at 3300 North Pace Blvd, Suite 210. (Coalition Walk-in Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.)

The following documents must be uploaded to obtain the Certificate of Eligibility:

  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residence (Utility Bill within last 60 days or Lease Agreement)

Step 2:  Complete an Escambia County School District online application HEREFamilies can apply to the District beginning April 2, 2018.

 

Step 3: *Bring the following documents to the Spencer Bibbs Center located at 2005 N. 6th Ave. (District Walk-in Hours: Monday-Thursday from 8:00a.m-2:30p.m.)

  • Certificate of Eligibility
  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residence (utility bill or lease agreement)
  • Immunization Record
  • Physical
  • Proof of income (W2 for all adults in household)
  • Child's Insurance Card
  • Verified Child's Social Security Number

*If you are applying to Bratt Elementary, Jim Allen Elementary, or Molino Park Elementary contact the school and do not come to the Spencer Bibbs Center.
